There’s so many things you need think about on the road, so here’s 4 things not to worry about when traveling.
I use Pinterest a lot. I love using Pinterest for travel. But sometimes the advice on there is too extreme.
It stresses me out and I’ve been doing this long enough to know what I’m doing.
Do you know at this moment there are pins are shouting from the screen “10 Must-Haves to Survive a Long-Haul Flight”?
“21 Tips to Packing Like a Pro”?!
First off, there are crews of trained professional on a flight who are there to make sure no one dies. You will survive 15 hours on a plane with or without a scarf in your carry on.
Second, you do not need 21 tips to pack like a pro. You just need some advice from someone who’s been there, but 21 tips? Can those all be useful? No.
They are well intentioned posts, but I feel like they are pushy.
It makes people stress about the details rather than enjoying the moment. If you read “30 Places You Can’t Miss in Italy” and your vacation is only 10 days, chances are, you’re going to miss them. Or, you’ll spend the entire trip rushing from site to site rather than spending 3 hours drinking wine in a cafe, which is what you should be doing in Italy.
So rather than get obsessed with all the details, let’s make a list of 4 things not to worry about when traveling.
