This is another Buddhist site in Kathmandu. It’s one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist sites outside of Tibet. Tibetans and Nepalis make pilgrimages here every year for prayers and meditation. If you look you can see the Buddha eyes peaking out, keeping an eye on the pigeons.

This is a plate of momos. Momos are actually from Tibet but are a favorite food of Nepal. They are pockets of pasta stuffed with meat, eggs or veggies and served with a sort of spicy chili sauce. They’re really good after a long day of hiking.
